
The workshop will take place on Saturday June 19th and Sunday June 20th in, and around The Syndicate building in Weehawken, NJ, which is JUST outside the Lincoln tunnel in NYC.

We will be capturing the music photography seminar, which will be similar to ones we have done in the past, but with professional video cameras.
This is a rare and unique opportunity to learn all you can about being a photographer in the music industry, how to turn your work into a full time business, with a full and through master class covering every single step in music photography. From getting started, how to set up a photo shoot, getting paid, a full walkthrough of concert photography, a brand new extensive lighting tutorial (with a slew of different equpment including a live shoot done by both Gage and Jeremy as well as hands-on photo shoot (you shoot) with a band, and even file workflow, and a post production editing tutorial.
The first day will be a full comprehensive seminar with both Gage Young and Jeremy Saffer covering every single aspect of being a photographer in the music industry, and everything you need to know up to the concert or photo shoot. Followed by a in-depth lighting and posing tutorial using 1, 2, and 3 lights in different situations and scenarios
The second day will be a live photo shoot of special guest bands done by both photographers, where you will also get a chance to shoot the band, as well as a post production photo workflow (with photoshop and lightroom) tutorial.

Gage Young (Orlando, FL) has photographed bands and other artists for major music publications around the world. His work appears frequently in Alternative Press and has even reached the pages of Rolling Stone in March of 2009. His client list spans from numerous independent and major record labels such as Sony and Fueled by Ramen. Gage has also worked with major marketing companies such as BBDO for projects involving worldwide publishing. Jeremy Saffer (Western, Ma) is known for his work in Outburn magazine, as well as being a contributing photographer for over 10 others (his work have graced of 8 covers in 2009) as well as his work with a small army of bands, record labels, and music equipment companies.
