NOTE - this is the image Vic Firth will be using so I figured I would upload it for all to see.
WHOA. INTENSE SHOOT! So, heres the story with this one. they had just finished building their new drum sets and they look SICK. Because they are a band with a stage outfit, I have to shoot them directly before they go on stage. so needless to say I had about 45 seconds to shoot this. We decided to shoot on their awesome new drum set, but as i was shooting one of their crew was moving one of my lights, the dudes couldnt hear me because of stage noise as well as their in-ear monitors, and their crew were starting to move the drum kit they were standing on, toward the stage. After a few shots, the drum set was gone, the dudes were gone, and that whole set in front of the lens as gone. hahaha. IT WAS INTENSE! but I got what I needed (which is what Vic Firth needed) This shot was the best of the ones I took, and im really really stoked with how it came out. This is for their Vic Firth, drumstick endorsement. Taken directly before their show at the Rockstar Mayhem Festival |
